The new sidebar elements did appear, but it was almost entirely covered by a grey band. It was not always possible to click on it.<br /><br />I managed to get around this problem by a simple template fix. i don't know how unique to the template I use ('Harbor') it is, and recall I did this mostly by guessing and trial and error, knowing little of HTML or CSS.
